Video

Chorus is a video experience created during my artistic residency at @fabricaresearchcentre
During watching, the audience's smartphones are used to reproduce sounds in real-time.

The video presents a non-linear narrative employing 3D animation & AI to explore various themes.
Starting with the concept of the digital swarm by Byung-Chul Han, transitioning to the Internet of Things, and drawing parallels between the theme of the chorus in ancient Greek theater and the contemporary use of smartphones.

2D Motion Design
AI Visual Communicaiton

The collaboration with the Sound Department involved creating content for 61 dates, scheduled weekly over the course of a year.
My contributions to the team included art direction, 2D/3D motion design, organic modeling, 3D rendering, and layout Design.
The videos were created while maintaining consistency for sets of dates and themes, according to the organization's communicative needs and choices.
A key aspect was the experimental use of AI in one of its early stages.

The results led to a substantial increase in audience engagement, resulting in organic growth of the club's Instagram page followers, rising from 17'000 to 37'000 followers, with videos reaching over 1 million views.

Ad’Opera Studio- Web Design & Development

2024

Contributions:
Web Design
Web Development
CMS

Ad’Opera Studio, a studio-gallery located in Florence, requested a straightforward and fluid website that would showcase the artists' work and be adaptable for future needs.

The challenge was to create a site that reflected the duo's style without losing their individual identities, while also serving as an introductory showcase for one of the most vibrant artistic scenes on Via Maggio.

Aircraft Crash Reconstruction
2025

Contributions:

3D Rendering
Motion Design

This project is a simulation of an airplane accident that occurred at Rome Urbe Airport, created for forensic purposes.
I was asked to recreate the moment of impact on the surface of a river, showing how the aircraft’s movements shortly before the crash influenced the breakage patterns.

Subsequently, the client requested the animation of two maneuvers based on statements given by two witnesses during hearings.
The 3D mapping was obtained using a method of extraction from Google Maps, aligning the point of view with that of the witnesses.

Due to the urgency of the client, the work was completed within one week.

Carlo Here Again- Installation Video

2024

Contributions:
Installation
Video Mapping
AI Animation

It is a site-specific installation designed for the Scarpa area within the Querini Stampalia Foundation.
The project is a series of video loops generated with Artificial Intelligence, inspired by the architectural and aesthetic vision of Carlo Scarpa.

Its aim is to explore how contemporary technology, specifically Artificial Intelligence, can interact with and enhance the unique architecture of the Foundation, creating new mental landscapes and infinite perspectives.

The project also references the extensive photographic research of Guido Guidi, who spent a decade studying the Brion Tomb, emphasizing the image as a tool for investigation. It highlights how Scarpa’s works are ever-changing—contemporary, layered, and detailed—and ultimately serve as machines (or Artificial Intelligences) that allow us to see more deeply.

Sentiero Film Lab- Visual Identity

2023

Contributions:
Art Direction
Graphic Design
Visual Identity

In the project with Sentiero Film Lab, I led
a comprehensive rebranding process aimed
at redefining the lab's visual identity.
A crucial part of the project was selecting a versatile color palette suitable for both digital and print content, ensuring aesthetic consistency across
all communication platforms.

Our goal was to effectively communicate
the "new directions" explored during the workshops
to the participants, offering a visual experience that reflected the innovative and dynamic nature
of the lab.

Contamination  - Video  Animation

2021

Contributions:
Stop Motion
Photogrammetry
3D Animation

Projection:
Pesaro Film Festival
Sarajevo Film Festival

The project explores the technological contamination of nature, symbolized by seeds altered by a technological object that causes the plant's growth to change. This accelerated evolution leads to a moment where the natural element breaks free from two-dimensional logic, transforms in undefined space, and eventually dissolves.

The work reflects on the broader theme of the biosphere's dissolution into the technosphere, highlighting the collapse of the biological world under technological pressure. It is realized through a combination of techniques including live-action footage, stop motion, photogrammetry, and 3D animation.
