Regime Ibrido
Università IUAV
Through an analysis of the dynamics characteristic of hybrid regimes—as defined by The Economist: governments that exert pressure on the opposition, lack judicial independence, exhibit high levels of corruption, impose restrictions on press freedom, show weakness in the rule of law, low political participation, and severe institutional dysfunctions—a projection was developed that, based on current data, hypothesizes Italy’s transition into a hybrid regime by 2050.
This speculative zine introduces the topic, fostering reflection and awareness. Midway through, a call to action invites protest, exploring strategies of resistance and dissent.
